Job Summary

Western Canadian Building Solutions is looking to add experienced carpenters to our construction crews. We are specifically looking for individuals with post-frame / pole-building experience who are comfortable working on the road on and off throughout Western Canada.

What We're Looking For

- Previous post-frame construction experience is strongly preferred
- Strong framing and general carpentry skills
- Experience with wood post-frame structures, trusses, purlins, girts, roof and wall systems
- Experience installing metal roofing and siding is an asset
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
- Able to read construction drawings and follow building plans
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently as part of a crew
- Willing and able to travel for projects when required
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Safety-conscious and able to maintain a clean, organized jobsite

- Travel: Required – crews will work on the road for certain projects and return home between projects depending on scheduling
- Location: Projects throughout Alberta and Western Canada
- Compensation: Competitive and based on experience
