Reporting to the Vice President, Account Acquisition, the Director, Operations Technology and Transformation is responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, optimization, and continuous evolution of the operational technology ecosystem supporting Credit Operations, Income Verification, Fraud Prevention, Funding, and Loan Administration. The Director serves as the business owner for the Account Acquisition technology ecosystem, including the Loan Origination System (LOS), Dealer Portals, workflow automation platforms, operational reporting tools, and vendor-supported technologies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Technology Strategy & Governance

- Develop and maintain a multi-year operational technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Own and govern LOS, Dealer Portals, workflow, automation, and operational technology platforms.
- Evaluate future-state technologies and operating models.
- Partner with executive leadership on technology strategy and transformation priorities.

Systems & Platform Ownership

- Provide business ownership for critical vendor systems including Inovatec, CreditApp, DealerTrack, RouteOne, Propel, and other related platforms.
- Oversee enhancement prioritization, testing, releases, and implementations.
- Measure platform effectiveness, utilization, and ROI.

Workflow Design & Automation

- Working closely with the Bank’s Credit Risk department, lead workflow optimization across Credit, Income Verification, Fraud Prevention, Funding, and Loan Administration.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Support straight-through processing and automated decisioning initiatives.

Vendor Management & External Partnerships

- Manage strategic vendor relationships, service levels, and governance activities.
- Participate in contract reviews, negotiations, and issue escalation.

Financial & Budget Management

- Manage operational technology budgets, and vendor spend.
- Develop business cases and ROI assessments for technology initiatives.

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in Business, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and operations is preferred.

Experience, Skills & Competencies





Experience:

- 7-10 years of progressive experience in operations, business systems, technology transformation, process improvement, or related leadership roles.

Skills:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Working knowledge of loan operating systems, Inovatec preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, REST APIs, SQL, and enterprise integration concepts.
- Experience configuring or administering enterprise SaaS platforms, workflow engines, or Loan Origination Systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, release management, and agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to interpret application logs, API responses, and system documentation to support troubleshooting and solution design.

- Ability to evaluate operational challenges, technology opportunities, and business needs to develop long-term strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Demonstrates sound judgment when balancing operational requirements, technology investments, risk considerations, and business priorities.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve operational performance through workflow redesign, automation, system enhancements, and technology-enabled solutions.
- Demonstrates innovation and continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and advancing future-state operating models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical and operational concepts to executive leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.
- Ability to influence decisions and build consensus across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors, technology partners, internal stakeholders,



and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrates strong negotiation, governance, and relationship management skills to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

- Work is performed primarily in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and screen time.
- Requires sustained mental concentration, frequent task switching and multi-tasking under deadlines.
- Periodic stress related to regulatory requirements, audits, and reporting deadlines may occur.
- Occasional travel (less than 10%) is required.
