About the Role
We are seeking a hands‑on, proactive, and highly organized Assistant Operations Manager to support and enhance the day‑to‑day operations of our Alberta Collision Reporting Centres. Based out of the Edmonton South CRC, this role will oversee operational performance, support staff across multiple locations, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
This position requires regular travel within Alberta to support site operations, audit performance, train team members, and address operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in daily operational oversight across multiple CRC locations
- Provide on‑site leadership at the Edmonton South Centre, overseeing the daily operations as a working manager you will lead the team while also supporting frontline operations, including assisting drivers, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth workflow
- National travel throughout to train staff, audit procedures, and ensure operational consistency
- Lead and support employees, fostering a positive and high‑performing team environment
- Assist with developing and implementing operational processes, policies,
and quality controls
- Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Address operational challenges promptly with a hands‑on, solution‑focused approach
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and workflow coordination across sites
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and partner requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, municipal partners, and vendors
- Support strategic planning, recent site openings, and company‑wide operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Operations Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred)
- 7 years of experience in operations, supervision, or multi‑site management
- Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to coach and support staff at all levels
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within Alberta
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and operational reporting tools
- Experience in public safety, transportation, customer service, or regulated environments is an asset

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
