About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician to maintain, repair, and service our fleet vehicles, equipment, and small engines to ensure maximum safety, efficiency, and performance.

Location: Quispamsis, New Brunswick
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Eligibility: Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with a valid Canadian work permit.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and general engine maintenance across fleet vehicles, small engines, and equipment.
- Handle basic vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance to keep our fleet running smoothly.
- Perform tire changes, balancing, and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, fuel, and cooling systems issues.
- Conduct motor vehicle inspections and ensure registrations remain current.
- Perform routine engine service.
- Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts.
- Reassemble and reinstall engines and equipment following repairs.
- Service and repair power equipment (generators, small engines, tools, etc.).
- Schedule and monitor vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and availability.
- Track maintenance intervals and create schedules for vehicles, small tools, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, test results, and parts usage.
- Support fleet management by reporting expenses, performance metrics, and inspection outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Red Seal Certification required (Licensed Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician).
- 5+ years of proven hands-on experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance/repair.
- Demonstrated experience with basic vehicle repairs, tire changes, general engine work, and cooling systems.
- Licensed to perform Motor Vehicle Inspections.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (mechanical, electrical, cooling, and fuel systems).
- Current/valid driver’s license and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and diligent
