Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to join our small local business. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help enhance building aesthetics, energy efficiency, and security for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your skills in glazing, carpentry, and finishing trades to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Measure openings accurately to ensure proper fitment of windows and doors
- Remove old or damaged windows and doors carefully, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding structure
- Install new windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment while adhering to safety standards
- Apply caulking, weatherstripping, and sealing techniques to ensure airtight and watertight installations
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to follow accurate installation procedures
- Lead a crew
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience





- Proven experience in window and door installation preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, levels, saws, and drills
- Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions while maintaining quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure precise fitment and finish
