Summary

We are seeking a Product Development & Production Manager to join our dynamic team at Globalla Inc. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our knitwear products while ensuring alignment with our timelines and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our product offerings to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

- Direct factories to work within our product development and sampling schedules from concept to final samples.
- Follow up with factories on production schedules, shipments in keeping with customer order dates.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the most cost-efficiant pricing possible.
- Sourcing new factory resources as needed.
- Ensure all POs are properly entered into our systems and related data is always accurate.
- Work with our traffic department to make sure documentation is properly repaired to ensure timely shipments.




- Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
- Oversee product testing and quality assurance processes to maintain brand integrity.
- Oversee all related timeline management to ensure all is executed in keeping with customer and internal planning objectives

Requirements

- Min 5-8 years of experience in apparel/fashion
- Candidate must be a quick learner with excellent skills for attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product development within the apparel industry, preferably in accessories knitwear.
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast paced workplace.
- Ability to speak Mandarin an advantage
