Welder

Satellite Welding is hiring an experienced full-time, permanent Welder to join our team at our shop in Concord, Vaughan.

We are looking for a reliable and skilled welder with experience working with a variety of metals and welding processes. Our work includes repair jobs and the fabrication of current and replacement parts. This is a shop-based position with no travel or job site work required.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and stick welding
- Weld and repair aluminum, stainless steel, structural steel and other metals
- Complete welding and fabrication work for repairs and new parts
- Assess repair requirements and determine appropriate welding methods
- Cut, prepare, repair and assemble metal components as required
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and durability
- Work independently and as part of a small team
- Perform other shop-related duties as required
- Work from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays.
