Travel: FIFO — approximately 75% travel
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Job Description

We are seeking a Surface Top Hammer Driller to join our team for variable job assignments throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused driller; however, skilled candidates or individuals willing to be trained are encouraged to apply.

Experience operating Gardner Denver 3500 and 5000 drills and Atlas Copco drillers is preferred. The successful candidate will operate production drilling equipment in a variety of field environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate surface top hammer production drills safely and efficiently.
- Operate drilling equipment at various job sites throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
- Set up, position, and operate drilling equipment according to site requirements and drilling plans.
- Monitor drilling progress and ensure accurate and productive drilling.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Identify and report equipment issues or required repairs.




- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Follow all company, site, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a field crew.

Experience & Qualifications

- Experience operating Gardner Denver 3500 and 5000 drills preferred.
- Experience operating Atlas Copco drillers preferred.
- Previous surface drilling experience is an asset.
- Skilled drillers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates willing to be trained will also be considered.
- Surface Miner Common Core and Operate Production Drill modules preferred.
- Heavy equipment operating experience is an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Willingness to travel between job sites in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.

Schedule & Working Conditions

- 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 50–60 hours per week
- Variable job locations throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
- Work is primarily in person and in the field
- Travel between job sites may be required
