A. Job Identification

Job Title: Branch Manager

Report to: General Manager

Area of Operation: Edmonton

Compensation based on experience. Salary + Performance Incentives

B. Job Summary

Responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and performance of the branch. The Branch Manager is accountable for sales, profitability, operational performance, customer satisfaction, employee development, safety, quality, and continual improvement.

The Branch Manager provides leadership and direction to all branch departments while ensuring operations align with Wil-Tech's goals, values, and expectations.

C. Essential Tasks

* Including but not limited to.

· Provide overall leadership and direction to employees and department leaders within the branch.

· Develop and execute branch sales, profitability, budget, and operational plans.

· Monitor branch performance against established financial and operational goals and take corrective action where required.

· Assess local market conditions, identify current business opportunities, and support Sales and Business Development activities.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and assist in resolving significant customer concerns.

· Coach, develop, and evaluate employees while establishing clear expectations and accountability.

· Oversee branch staffing requirements and participate in recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and succession planning.

· Ensure branch operations, inventory, equipment, facilities, and company assets are effectively managed.

· Promote communication and collaboration between Sales, Service, Distribution, Administration, Engineering,



and other Wil-Tech branches and departments.

· Demonstrate leadership and accountability for Health & Safety, ensuring company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed.

· Promote Wil-Tech's commitment to Quality, Workmanship, Economics, Safety + Continual Improvement (QWEST+) throughout branch operations.

· Identify and lead continual improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, profitability, customer experience, or employee effectiveness.

· Regularly communicate branch performance, opportunities, challenges, and significant operational matters to Senior Management.

· Represent Wil-Tech professionally with employees, customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and the community.

D. Education and Experience

* A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

· 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial distribution, fluid power, heavy equipment, manufacturing, industrial service, or a related industry preferred.

· Previous leadership or management experience with responsibility for employees, customers, operations, and/or financial performance.

· Experience with hydraulics, fluid power, technical sales, inventory management,



or service operations is considered a strong asset.

· Post-secondary education in Business, Management, Engineering Technology, a recognized trade, or a related discipline is considered an asset.

E. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1) Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, delegate, and hold employees accountable.

2) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3) Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

4) Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

5) Strong business and financial understanding, including sales, margins, expenses, budgets, inventory, and profitability.

6) Strong customer relationship and business development skills.

7) Working knowledge of hydraulic and fluid power fundamentals, or the aptitude to develop the required technical knowledge.

8) Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/business management systems.

9) Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication and alignment with Senior Management.

10) Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, professionalism, teamwork, and continual improvement.

11) Ability to understand, demonstrate, and promote Wil-Tech's Vision, Mission, Values, and QWEST+ culture.

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
