Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our compassionate team at Sidney All Care Residence in Canada. In this vital role, you will provide personalized nursing care to our residents, supporting their health and well-being in a warm and caring environment.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Care (DOC) and under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse, the LPN administers treatments and medications as directed by a physician. The LPN is responsible for the overall well-being of the resident population on their unit.

Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.

- Monitor residents' health status and report changes promptly.
- Assist with daily living activities to promote independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of resident care.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Support residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments with patience and compassion.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Canada.
- Proven experience in long-term care settings.




- Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards.
- Experience with dementia care is highly desirable.
- Commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care.

Pay: $34.89-$41.83 per hour
