Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and innovative Residential Architect / Designer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of residential projects from conceptual sketches to detailed construction documents. Your expertise will help transform client visions into beautifully crafted, functional living spaces that blend aesthetic appeal with practical efficiency. Duties

- Develop comprehensive design concepts for residential projects, incorporating client needs, site conditions, and aesthetic preferences.
- Create detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and other CAD/BIM software to communicate design intent clearly.
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and specifications that adhere to building codes and zoning regulations.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and provide professional guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of structural, mechanical, electrical systems, and interior finishes.
- Conduct site visits during construction phases to monitor progress, ensure design fidelity, and address any on-site challenges promptly.




- Assist in business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and estimates; foster ongoing client relationships for future projects.
- Manage project timelines and budgets efficiently using project management tools while maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Bluebeam for PDF markup and collaboration.
- Strong drafting skills with a keen eye for detail; experience in creating accurate construction documents.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting processes, renovation techniques, and construction experience within residential settings.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor interactions and client discussions; ability to advocate for design solutions effectively.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to develop compelling sketches and visual presentations that communicate ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Experience in business development activities including proposal writing and client outreach strategies.
