About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Clinic Administrator to join our growing healthcare team on a casual basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience using Accuro EMR and demonstrate exceptional organizational, customer service, and administrative skills in a fast-paced medical environment.
This position offers flexibility while providing the opportunity to support physicians, allied health professionals, and patients in delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient registration, appointment scheduling, and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Maintain and update patient records within Accuro EMR accurately and efficiently.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally.
- Support physicians and healthcare providers with scheduling, referrals, requisitions, and administrative requests.
- Process patient charts, medical documentation, forms, and correspondence.
- Coordinate specialist referrals and track referral status as required.
- Scan, upload, and organize medical records and laboratory results in Accuro EMR.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation and clinic policies.
- Manage billing-related administrative tasks and patient account inquiries.
- Assist with inventory management and general clinic operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience using Accuro EMR in a medical clinic setting.
- Minimum 3 years of medical office administration experience.
- Robust understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
- Exceptional data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapid-paced environment.
- Professional, courteous, and patient-focused approach.
Preferred
- Medical Office Assistant (MOA) certification or equivalent education.
- Experience supporting family medicine, specialty clinics, or multidisciplinary healthcare practices.
- Knowledge of provincial healthcare billing processes.
- Experience with patient recalls, preventive care initiatives, and referral management.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
