Duties

- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities accurately.
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and minimize wait times for guests.




- Assist with food handling procedures to ensure proper storage, temperature control, and freshness of ingredients.
- Support team members in various restaurant operations to promote a smooth workflow and excellent customer service.

Requirements

- Prior food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and sanitation standards.
- Experience with cashiering systems such as Micros POS or similar point-of-sale technology.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus; familiarity with serving procedures is beneficial.
