Overview

We are a home delivery service program and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to recipes and standards
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely meal delivery
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation
- Stock supplies and notify management of inventory needs

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service,



restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Food industry or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Shifts are Saturday plus 1 or 2 days.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
