IntelliStaff Medical is recruiting Canadian and Mexican Labour and Delivery Registered Nurses for full-time opportunities with U.S. hospital employers.

These direct-hire positions are open to Canadian and Mexican citizens who are eligible to work in the United States under the TN visa program.

Labour and Delivery RN Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care throughout the antepartum, intrapartum and immediate postpartum stages

- Assess maternal health, vital signs and labour progression

- Monitor fetal heart rates and identify concerning changes

- Support patients during labour, delivery and recovery

- Assist physicians and other clinical team members during deliveries

- Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies and complications

- Administer medications, intravenous therapies and prescribed treatments

- Provide immediate nursing care and assessments for newborns

- Educate families about labour, breastfeeding, newborn care and postpartum recovery

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

- Promote patient safety, privacy and family-centred care

- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal teams and other healthcare professionals

Minimum Requirements

- Canadian or Mexican citizenship; required for TN visa eligibility

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, including a BScN or equivalent BSN

- Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN

- Minimum one year of recent hospital nursing experience in Canada, Mexico or the United States

- Recent Labour and Delivery, obstetrics, maternity, postpartum or women’s health nursing experience preferred

- Active RN licence or eligibility for licensure in the applicable U.S. state

- Willingness and ability to relocate to the United States

- Knowledge of fetal monitoring,



obstetric safety and maternal-newborn nursing standards

- Basic Life Support certification

- Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Advanced Cardiac Life Support or fetal monitoring certification may be required by the hospital

Compensation and Benefits

- US$32–$55 per hour

- Approximately CA$45–$77 per hour

- Sign-on bonus of up to US$30,000

- Approximately CA$41,800
