Overview
My name is Anda Vintila, and I am the founder of a counselling private practice rooted in the belief that healing happens through safety, attunement, and deep relational work. I support clients in coming out of survival physiology and trauma into reconnection with themselves through a somatic, integrative lens.
I am currently seeking an Associate Counsellor who feels genuinely drawn to depth-oriented work, integrates or interested in integrating body-centered modalities, and is interested in supporting clients through meaningful, lasting change. I am also looking for an associate counsellor who is equally responsive and responsible with the admin side of the role i.e. answering emails in a timely manner from myself and clients, keeping up with session notes, willing to learn how to use a scheduling platform to book referrals and consults sent by me, comfortable with asking clarifying questions, and has a deep understanding that we are handling sensitive information and must do so with great care and respect.
About the Role
- Position: Independent Contractor
- Compensation: 60/40–65/35 split (based on experience)
- Caseload: As this is the first associate position in my growing practice, the caseload will initially be small and will build gradually as referrals increase. This role is well suited to someone seeking part-time work or who has another reliable source of income while their caseload develops, with the long-term potential to grow to approximately 5–10+ clients per week.
- Format: Virtual (with potential for hybrid in the future)
- Start Date: Rolling
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
- Registration in good standing (e.g., RCC, CCC)
- Membership with BCACC or CCPA
- Open to new graduates and experienced clinicians
Preferred:
- Training in trauma-informed and/or somatic modalities such as EMDR, IFS, EFT, Hakomi, or other specialized approaches for working with trauma and complex relational patterns
- Experience working with trauma, anxiety, and relationships
The Kind of Therapist I’m Looking For:
- Drawn to deep, relational work
- Curious about integrating body-based awareness
- Can balance compassion with gentle challenge
- Open to cultural/systemic awareness
- Comfortable working with complex trauma
- Inclusive and respectful of diverse identities
- Able to recognize and repair relational ruptures
- Warm, grounded, organized, collaborative
What You’ll Receive:
- Monthly supervision / case consultation
- Flexible scheduling
- Client referrals
- Supportive environment for growth
About the Practice:
This practice is grounded in a somatic and integrative approach, informed by trainings such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Embodied Dreamwork, and Family Constellations.
The work centres on helping clients feel their inner experience in a safe and supported way as they process their difficult experiences. The therapeutic relationship is central to the healing process.
