Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate. The position offers an prospect to develop skills in food handling, cash handling, and customer service while working in a vibrant team setting.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including CLOVER POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
- Ensure food safety practices are followed during food preparation and service
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts




- Follow food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner

Skills

- Previous Barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Clover POS
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction
