What You’ll Do

As a Registered Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering excellent clinical care while supporting the orthodontist and creating a comfortable experience for every patient.

Clinical Excellence & Patient Care

- Assist the orthodontist with orthodontic procedures including braces adjustments, bonding, and appliance placement
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments while maintaining sterilization and infection control protocols
- Take digital scans, photos, and radiographs for treatment planning
- Provide patients with clear instructions on appliance care and oral hygiene

Patient Experience

- Create a welcoming and reassuring environment for patients and families
- Build rapport with patients and help them feel comfortable during their visits
- Provide chairside education so patients stay on track with their orthodontic treatment

Team Collaboration & Organization





- Work closely with the orthodontist, treatment coordinator, and admin team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation
- Support daily clinic operations while maintaining efficiency and professionalism

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:
$28 – $36 per hour depending on experience

What We’re Looking For

- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Alberta
- Orthodontic experience preferred
- Solid communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- A team player who contributes positive energy to the workplace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
