Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections, upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote featured products
- Verify legal age of customers using ID checks before completing sales of alcoholic beverages
- Manage cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers at shift end and handling cash with integrity
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow all safety protocols and legal regulations related to alcohol sales and responsible service practices
- Responsible for the proper handling, sorting, and organization of empty beer cans and bottles.




- Process and manage deposit returns in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Maintain an organized and clean empty-container return area.
- Ensure accurate handling of returned containers and deposits while providing courteous and effective customer service.
- Receive and process orders placed through third-party delivery platforms, including DoorDash and SkipTheDishes.
- Accurately prepare, package, and label customer orders for delivery.
- Verify orders for accuracy and completeness prior to handoff to delivery drivers.

Requirements

- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in environments involving cash handling and customer interaction
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and change calculations
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising techniques, and alcohol sale regulations is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Must be at least 18 years old with legal authorization to sell alcohol in the applicable jurisdiction
