We are seeking an Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to report to the Business Manager, to provide accounting and administrative support.
The ideal candidate must be well organized, proactive, hard-working and should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- Coordinate bank deposits
- Communicate/coordinate with suppliers and managers
- Prepare and file scheduled tax filings
- Manage payroll
- Manage billing and invoicing
- Perform other duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports.
- Experience working with QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and planning skills with prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Self-starter attitude with an ability to work in an office environment without constant guidance and direction
- Open and adaptable to providing all types of support to the office and fellow team members as required
- A proven track record of successful problem-solving and able to anticipate and/or troubleshoot problems with a solution
Hours and Compensation:
- between monday and friday by mutual agreement
- Health benefits package available upon eligibility
Required:
- Clerical/Bookkeeping: 2 years
- Quickbooks Online accounting system
- Candidate must have their own vehicle
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Job Type: Part time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 21 per week
