About the role

In this role, you will operate in a task-driven environment and manage a diverse set of administrative activities to support our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the core technical and interpersonal skills necessary to keep our office organized, efficient, and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Data Entry & File Management: Accurately enter data and maintain organized digital, cloud-based, and hard-copy filing systems.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management: Efficiently oversee and manage schedules and calendars.
- Documentation Development: Create key documents, including reports, contracts, and related materials.
- Financial Administration: Handle invoicing and payment processing.

Required skills and competencies

- Strong computer skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS-Word and Gmail applications.
- Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Learning agility and adaptability, willingness to learn.

Preferred skills and competencies

- Experience using Quickbooks on-line.
- Experience with PDF editor.
- Experience in a similar environment and/or industry.

Soft skills required

- Communication: Writing clear emails, answering phone calls politely, and speaking effectively with coworkers and clients.
- Organization and Time Management: Juggling multiple tasks at once, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing urgent jobs.
- Problem-Solving: Figuring out quick,



practical solutions when unexpected issues happen, like a broken printer or a scheduling conflict.
- Attention to Detail: Checking documents and data carefully to catch spelling, grammar, or calculation errors before they cause problems.
- Discretion: Keeping sensitive and confidential company or client information private.

Qualifications and experience

- Training and/or experience equivalent to one year of experience.

Working conditions and location

- Location: Sackville, NS
- Workplace type: Home Office – Shared Space.
- Little face-to-face with clients.
- Working hours/shift: Flexible days of week. Between 15 and 20 hours per week, a minimum of 15 is guaranteed each week.
- No bus service exists within 1km.

Compensation and perks

· Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

· Flexible work schedule: between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday

· Dental, medical and life insurance cost-sharing.

· Casual dress environment.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
