Cleaner at Agora Yorkville

We are looking for a part time cleaner to join our team at the new Agora Yorkville!

Location: 105 Scollard St.

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, protected, and welcoming restaurant environment. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning tasks both inside and throughout the entire premises to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently met. Your dedication helps create a professional space where everyone feels comfortable and valued.

Duties

- Perform detailed cleaning of designated areas, including floors, walls, windows, restrooms, common spaces, seating areas, under and behind kitchen equipment, storage areas, walk in coolers, patios, and outdoor spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and products to ensure effective sanitation and maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, fixtures, and equipment according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other essentials in restrooms and break areas
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and prioritize high-traffic areas for maximum impact

Requirements





- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 32.0 per week
