Professional Architect Job Summary

In this role, your primary function is to create CAD drawings based on the architect plans

These drawings are an essential tool for our clients and team, so they must be detailed and accurate. You will also collaborate with the engineers of the project, adjusting the plan based on their notes or recommendations. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in drafting or engineering and has at least 2 years of drafting experience. Preferablly in steel drafting or residential drafting.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Use computer-aided design software to create 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the project engineers and installers




- Calculate dimensions and material requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

- Degree in drafting, engineering, or a relevant field
- Experience with AutoCAD software (2 years minimum)
- Math skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience drafting in construction industry
- Proficient in creating detailed shop drawings for submission
- Able to manage a team or project
