Mayfair Properties Ltd. is seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Building Manager for a residential property in downtown Vancouver. As Building Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for tenants and the person responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, safety, and smooth operation of the building. You will report directly to our Property Manager, work closely with our Chief Engineer, and assist in managing our maintenance team. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively and professionally with tenants, contractors, and staff
- Oversee the cleanliness, safety, and general condition of the building, conducting regular walkthroughs and inspections
- Coordinate tenant maintenance requests, contractor quotes, and preventative maintenance schedules
- Assist with tenant move-in/move-out, unit showings, rental applications, and lease renewals
- Assist with rent collection,



arrears follow-up, and processing building-related invoices
- Issue tenant notices in accordance with the Residential Tenancy Act, and monitor building rules and security
- Respond to tenant concerns and emergency calls in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of work orders, tenant communications, and building administration
- Report to the Property Manager and work directly with the Chief Engineer on building operations and maintenance priorities

Qualifications:

- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Previous building management experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently and handling issues as they arise
- Clean, friendly, and professional manner
- Some flexibility for after-hours emergencies

Job Type: Full time
Salary: $58,000–$63,000 per year

Salary varies in accordance with experience.

Pay: $58,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
