About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our restoration team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in emergency restoration and on-site project management who understands the demands of water damage, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, and other property-loss situations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing restoration projects from the initial emergency response through completion, while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage restoration projects from initial assessment through completion and closeout.
- Attend emergency and scheduled site visits to assess damage and determine the appropriate scope of work.
- Coordinate and supervise restoration technicians, subcontractors, and other trades as required.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring work progresses efficiently and within required timelines.
- Prepare, review, and manage detailed restoration estimates using Xactimate, ensuring accurate scopes, quantities, and industry-appropriate pricing.
- Demonstrate solid working knowledge of Xactimate and be able to create and modify estimates for water, mold, fire, and other restoration-related projects.
- Communicate professionally with property managers, building owners, tenants, insurance representatives, adjusters, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed scopes of work, estimates, work orders, and project documentation.
- Monitor moisture levels, drying progress, demolition, remediation, and reconstruction activities.




- Ensure restoration procedures are completed in accordance with industry standards, safety requirements, and company protocols.
- Identify potential issues or additional damage and communicate findings promptly.
- Coordinate equipment, materials, trades, and manpower required for each project.
- Maintain accurate project records, including site notes, photographs, moisture readings, daily reports, and completion documentation.
- Review completed work to ensure quality and customer expectations are met.
- Respond to emergency calls and after-hours situations when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on field experience in the restoration industry.
- Strong working knowledge of water damage restoration, structural drying, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration, and related emergency restoration services.
- IICRC certifications are required, including:
- Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
- Additional IICRC certifications related to emergency restoration are considered an asset.
- Proven experience managing restoration projects and coordinating field crews.
- Strong understanding of restoration procedures, equipment, and industry practices.
- Ability to read and understand scopes of work and project documentation.
- Strong communication, organizational,



and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in emergency situations and respond outside of regular business hours when required.
