Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting hotpot ingredients and menu options, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout the dining experience.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Upsell menu items such as premium ingredients or special beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, quality control, and smooth service flow during busy hours.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly with hotpot or similar cuisine.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that makes guests feel valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks when needed and assist in kitchen operations as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for guest interactions, team coordination, and upselling opportunities.
- Proficiency in two or more languages preferred.
- Conversational in both English and Chinese would be an asset

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
