Job Summary
Leslie Trucking, a trusted leader in Toronto’s meat packing and delivery industry, is looking for a highly experienced and driven Transportation/Trucking Manager. In this full-time, on-site position, you will oversee all aspects of our fleet operations, manage drivers, and ensure timely, compliant delivery of meat products across Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of our refrigerated trucking fleet
- Plan and dispatch local and highway routes throughout Canada and into the USA
- Ensure all cross-border transportation complies with CBSA, CBP, and CFIA regulations
- Hire, train, and manage drivers and transportation staff
- Maintain vehicle inspection, maintenance, and temperature control records
- Monitor cold chain compliance and food safety standards
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams
- Track transportation performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Be available for on-call responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

- Previous experience in transportation or fleet management (meat or perishables preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Ontario and cross-border trucking regulations (CVOR, CBSA/CBP, FMCSA)
- Experience with cold chain logistics and CFIA/HACCP compliance




- Proficient in dispatch and route planning software
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- AZ or DZ licence is a robust asset
- Willingness to be on-call as needed
