Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovations to recent installations, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to make a tangible impact.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair tasks.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Assist Journeymen and other staff with various tasks on site and at shop.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects.




- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics updates, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.

Experience

- Proven experience as an apprentice in industrial, municipal, agricultural and commercial environments.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
- Familiarity with construction processes, renovation projects, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices in industrial settings is essential.
- Familiarity with pumps, motors and motor controls.

Service schedule: 5 8's

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
