Tire Technician

Full-Time | Busy Automotive Service Shop

We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Tire Technician to join our quick-paced automotive service team. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently under pressure, and provides courteous service to every customer. Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train a motivated candidate with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, remove, balance, rotate, repair, and inspect tires for passenger vehicles and light trucks.

· Check tire condition, tread depth, air pressure, wheel condition, and related safety concerns.

· Safely operate tire changers, wheel balancers, hoists, jacks, torque wrenches, and shop equipment.

· Follow manufacturer specifications and shop procedures, including proper wheel-torque practices.

· Maintain accurate work records and clearly communicate additional service needs to the service advisor or supervisor.

· Keep bays, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.

· Assist with receiving, moving, and storing tires and supplies.

· Follow all workplace health, safety,



and environmental requirements.

· Support teammates during seasonal rushes and help keep work moving efficiently.

Qualifications

· Previous tire-service, automotive, mechanical, or shop experience is preferred but not required.

· Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions, procedures, and safety standards.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume environment.

· Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.

· Valid driver’s licence and a satisfactory driving record.

· Ability to lift and move tires and equipment safely and to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods.

· Reliable attendance and availability for scheduled shifts; flexibility during peak tire seasons is an asset.

Pay: $46,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
