Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Helper to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will support daily operations by assisting with various tasks such as loading and unloading heavy equipment, managing warehouse distribution, and ensuring smooth order picking processes. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation will be vital in maintaining safety and efficiency within our fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized warehouse, supporting shipping, receiving, and overall logistics functions.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the load and unload of goods using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols
- Support order picker activities by accurately selecting items for shipment or inventory replenishment
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Help with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring items are stored securely and accessible for retrieval
- Support warehouse distribution processes by loading, unloading,



and relocating materials as needed
- Contribute to warehouse cleanliness and safety standards through regular inspections and housekeeping duties

Requirements

- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is essential
- Experience with order picking systems and warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy machinery safely
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks consistently throughout shifts
- Construction or industrial experience is a plus for understanding heavy equipment handling
- Solid attention to detail in shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management

Pay: $16.40-$18.00 per hour
