Job Summary

Part-time weekend associate therapist contract position within a thriving private practice in Greater Victoria, BC.

Responsibilities and Duties

Therapeutic, trauma-informed, client-centered work with individuals, children, parents and families. The practice is currently focused on child/youth counselling and parent support and we are looking to expand the scope of our practice into new client groups.

Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates will have a Masters level degree or higher in their field of practice, and will be registered with their governing body or association (i.e. CPBC, BCACC, BCCSW, etc.). A wide range of client focus will be considered, with particular attention given to applicants who work with children, youth and families.

Successful candidates will have access to "Jane App" online client management software (including the secure video appointment platform, Telehealth), branded email address and suite of Google tools, have a profile on our website, and will be featured in promotional materials.

Compensation

This is a independent contractor position. The successful applicant will establish their own client base, although they can expect some referrals from our other practitioners on occasion. Successful applicants will set their own fee schedule and retain 60% of their client fees, with 40% going to the clinic. There is a minimum clinic fee and a cap on the maximum collected, which varies with the amount of time scheduled for the practitioner.

Contract length: 48 months

Pay: $140.00-$225.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
