About us

We are seeking experienced MIG and TIG Welders for one of our client located in Burlington, ON. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to blueprints and specifications. Your main responsibilities

· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly specifications

· Perform welding operations on various types of tanks and trailers

· Be proficient in GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

· Prepare, fit, and assemble parts prior to welding

· Operate various cutting and shaping equipment, including plasma cutting, arc gouging, and oxy-fuel cutting

· Perform thermal cutting and shaping of metal components

· Complete simple to complex assemblies according to blueprints and required specifications

· Perform modification, repair,



and custom fabrication work on tank and trailer components

· Perform welding operations in all positions

· Repair and modify metal structures and components of tanks and trailers

What we are looking for:

- Experience with MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel
- Experience with plasma cutting, ARC gouging, and oxy/acetylene cutting techniques
- A technical diploma in welding (an asset)
- Experience working with tanks and/or trailers (an asset)
- Good physical condition
