Purpose:
In this role the Inventory Analyst will be the analytical foundation for our inventory and planning operations. Your work will significantly influence strategic and operational decisions by transforming raw data into insights, actionable dashboards, and supply chain strategies. You will help improve service levels, optimize inventory management, and enhance ERP data integrity.

Job Responsibilities:
Data Analytics & Insights
- Perform in-depth analysis on inventory, purchasing, demand forecasts, and supply chain KPIs.
- Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
- Develop simulation and what-if analysis for key planning scenarios.
Reporting & Dashboards
- Design, automate, and maintain dashboards (using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for inventory performance, order fulfillment, supplier reliability, and system optimization metrics.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packs for leadership,
identifying key variances and root causes.
Planning Support
- Support demand and replenishment planning by providing accurate, data-backed inputs.
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to align stock levels with demand trends and customer requirements.
- Assist in safety stock analysis, min/max planning, and ABC categorization.
ERP & Master Data Integrity
- Assist in ensuring the ERP system reflects accurate lead times, order quantities, and item attributes.
- Partner with the Inventory and Purchasing Manager to enhance master data quality and maintain accurate planning parameters.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with warehouse, sales, finance, and customer service teams to align operations and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support ad hoc analysis requests from business stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics, or related field.
- APICS/ASCM or other supply chain certification (CPIM, CSCP).
- 2–4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, inventory planning, or operations analytics.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working with ERP systems (preferably in the distribution or medical products sector).
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other data tools.
- Familiarity with demand planning, S&OP;, or inventory optimization methodologies.
Skills:
-Candidates must demonstrate strong communications skills (both verbally and written), organization, ability to -negotiate, valuable mathematical skills, sound judgment and initiative
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and ability to turn data into decisions.
- Must be a highly-motivated, self-driven person who can learn quickly and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (excel, pivot tables, Power BI etc.) Use of SAP, WMS, Pronto etc.
