Invictus Security is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Night Shift Dispatcher to join our growing Integrated Security Operations Centre (ISOC) in Markham, Ontario.

As a central communication hub for our security operations, the ISOC plays a critical role in coordinating field personnel, monitoring security operations, supporting clients, and ensuring timely responses to incidents across our portfolio.

As a Night Shift Dispatcher, you will be responsible for maintaining communication with security officers in the field, monitoring ongoing operations, documenting incidents, coordinating responses, and escalating situations when required.

Please Note: This position is strictly for overnight shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. There are no day shifts available. Applicants must be available to work nights, including weekends and holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch and coordinate security personnel throughout assigned shifts
- Monitor guard check-ins and maintain regular communication with field personnel
- Receive, document, and respond to incident reports, emergencies, and client requests
- Coordinate responses with supervisors, management, and emergency services when required
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and operational documentation
- Monitor GPS tracking, patrol activity,



and guard movements
- Conduct guard welfare checks when necessary
- Follow up on missed check-ins or other operational irregularities
- Provide professional customer service and operational support to clients and security personnel
- Escalate critical incidents in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain transparent communication during emergencies and high-priority incidents
- Complete accurate shift handover information for the incoming dispatcher

Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing responsibilities
- Proficiency with computers, iMac, Microsoft Office, email, security management systems, and web-based applications
- Previous dispatch, security, customer service, call centre, or emergency communications experience is considered an asset
- 1–2 years of previous dispatch experience is considered an asset
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times




- Must be comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts
