Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the US supply chain teams for both BIKE and FISH Divisions along with the General Managers at Shimano Canada, the Supply Chain Manager will manage the Shimano Canada supply chain team and provide consolidated reporting on Both bike and Fish divisions to both the finance, warehouse and sales teams. Coordinate supply chain activities and represent Shimano Canada within the North American supply chain for both bike and fish. Conduct data analysis with the goal of maintaining and improving the forecast accuracy of our sales and supply chain operations, increase efficiency, reduce costs and help the business to run as smoothly and profitably as possible. This role may require occasional travel, including travel to the US.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

· Demand Planning & Forecasting: Lead monthly demand planning for Shimano Bike and Fish products, partnering with Sales and Product Management to improve forecast accuracy, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

· Procurement & Inventory: Place and manage factory purchase orders, align supply with demand forecasts and inventory targets, and coordinate transfer orders to address shortages, excess stock,



and inventory imbalances.

· Inbound Logistics: Manage factory-direct shipments from order release through warehouse receipt, including shipment tracking, ETA maintenance, landed costing, and proactive communication of delays or risks.

· Import & Freight Coordination: Coordinate with factories, head office, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses while maintaining accurate shipping and customs documentation, tariff classifications, and regulatory compliance.

· Freight & Cost Analysis: Monitor inbound freight performance and costs, support contract-related analysis, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce landed costs.

· Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain team by setting clear objectives, managing workloads, supporting employee growth, and fostering accountability, collaboration, and customer service.

· Cross-Functional & North American Coordination: Provide consolidated Bike and Fish supply chain reporting and act as Shimano Canada’s primary supply chain contact with Canadian stakeholders and North American planning counterparts.

· Continuous Improvement: Use data and performance reporting to recommend process improvements that strengthen forecast accuracy, inventory availability, operational efficiency, and business profitability; perform other duties as required.

Job Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, operations, or a related business function; experience in the cycling, outdoor, sporting goods, or retail industry is an asset.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.

· Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders,



building strong relationships to support business objectives.

· Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to process accuracy, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

· Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and business reporting tools, with experience in inventory, purchasing, and supply chain analysis preferred.

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of service and accountability.

· Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada and the United States as required.

Education:

· University degree in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience in demand planning and supply chain management.

Pay: $85,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
