SALES CONSULTANT – RETAIL SALES

Hardwood Giant | Full-Time | In-PersonSalary: $42,000/year + Commission

ABOUT THE ROLE

Hardwood Giant is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing retail sales team.

Our Sales Consultants work directly with homeowners, contractors, designers, and other customers to help them find the right flooring products for their projects. You will assist customers in the showroom, provide product recommendations, prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and guide customers through the sales process.

This is a great chance for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and developing their sales skills in a professional retail environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Educate and assist customers about Hardwood Giant products and services in the showroom and understand their flooring needs, preferences, and budget.
- Prepare quotes, process sales, and work toward individual sales targets.
- Converting sales leads to complete sales transactions and follow up with leads, existing customers, and prospects by phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and develop new sales opportunities.
- Promote products, services, and special offers to customers.
- Use social media platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to promote products and generate customer interest.
- Develop new business relationships by following up with regular proactive contact.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns professionally and work toward resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales records, and daily activity reports.
- Communicate with the installation team to help ensure customer projects are completed as expected.




- Stay informed about competitor products, pricing, and market trends and provide analysis reports to management for any changes as recommended.
- Keep the showroom and store clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist with organizing and moving flooring products when required.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Sales Store Manager.
