We are seeking a patient, reliable, and engaging French teacher to work with our two children, who are in Senior Kindergarten and Grade 1 French Immersion.

Responsibilities:

- Help both children complete and understand their French homework
- Teach French reading, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension
- Read age-appropriate French books with the children
- Review classroom material and reinforce areas requiring improvement
- Prepare structured learning activities when homework is completed
- Keep both children focused and actively engaged
- Provide parents with brief updates about their progress

Required Qualifications:

- Previous experience teaching or tutoring children
- Strong spoken and written French




- Ability to teach two young children at different learning levels
- Patient, encouraging, organized, and dependable
- Consistent availability every Wednesday from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Experience with the Ontario French Immersion curriculum is an asset. Current or retired teachers, education students with substantial teaching experience, and experienced French tutors are welcome to apply.

This is an in-person position in a private home near Bathurst Street and Glencairn Avenue.
