Duties

- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, brushing, and nail clipping tailored to each pet’s breed and individual needs
- Assess pet health and behavior to ensure safe grooming practices and communicate any concerns to pet owners
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming station adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Handle pets with care, patience, and positive reinforcement to ensure a stress-free grooming experience
- Assist with customer service by scheduling appointments, answering questions, and providing expert advice on pet grooming care
- Manage heavy lifting when handling large or heavy pets safely and efficiently




- Keep detailed records of grooming services provided and any special instructions from pet owners

Qualifications

- Groomers insurance
- Prior experience in pet grooming or a strong desire to learn the craft with proper training provided
- Excellent customer service skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their pets
- Ability to lift heavy pets safely and comfortably as needed during grooming procedures
- Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with pet owners and team members
- Passion for animals and dedication to delivering high-quality grooming services
- Knowledge of different breeds’ grooming requirements is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided if needed
