Job You do not need ADAS experience. Almost nobody has it. We train you.
Level5drive runs a dedicated ADAS calibration laboratory in Burlington. When a modern vehicle gets a new windshield or comes out of a collision repair, its cameras and radar sensors have to be re-aimed to factory specification before lane keeping, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise will work properly again. That is all we do, in a controlled environment.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
If you have done any of the following professionally, you already have the foundational knowledge:
- Auto glass installation and replacement
- Wheel alignments
- Collision and body repair
- Mobile electronics: remote starters, dash cams, backup cameras, fleet installs
- Automotive service and diagnostics, including recent apprentices and graduates
What we need is someone who works clean, follows a documented procedure exactly, and stays patient with a job that has to be right to the millimetre. The calibration itself we will teach you, on the clock, on equipment most shops do not own.
WHAT YOU GET
- $20 to $32 per hour to start, depending on current knowledge and ability
- Paid, structured training in a skill very few technicians in Ontario have
- Indoor, controlled environment
- Hourly pay. No flat rate, so a slow week is not your problem
- Monday to Friday. No weekends
- A trade that gets more valuable with every model year
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Ontario driver's licence in good standing
- Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort working with a scan tool
- Able to lift and position calibration targets and equipment
