Advance Paper Box Ltd is looking for a full-time Die Cutting Press Operator to join our team, who will support the Production team and will be responsible for ensuring proper machine runs, maintaining quality standards are maintained and production deadlines are managed as scheduled.

Advance Paper Box is a fully integrated folding carton manufacturing facility including design, die making, printing, die cutting and gluing. Our customers range from food and pharmaceutical manufacturers to computer software and automotive supply companies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in machining and operating CNC machinery preferably Die-cutting presses.
Shift: Days Continental Shift, 12 hours shift; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

- Maintains general knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment.
- Reads job tickets to determine setup specifications and instructions.
- Observes/monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
- Performs routine adjustments during the press run and maintains production throughout the run.
- Utilize the shop floor data system (computerized) to help track productivity.
- Opens machines and removes/replaces damaged product, using hand tools.
- Trains workers to set up, operate and use machines.
- Performs scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting.




- Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers (in all departments) as needed to maximize production efficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- 2 years manufacturing experience with operating equipment comparable to that in our facility.
- Knowledge of Sanwa die cutting equipment preferred.
- Must have the ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
- Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including additions, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Must be able to maintain good attendance.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical Capabilities:

- Able to work 12-hour shifts.
- Some heavy lifting is required
- Frequent walking and standing for extended periods
