PRIMED Medical Products is looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team at our head office in Edmonton, Alberta. This role supports key financial and administrative processes, contributes to PRIMED’s broader roadmap, and works cross-functionally with internal and external partners to improve processes, support innovation, and serve our customers effectively.

Your Day to Day:

In this role, you will help keep Finance operations running smoothly by supporting month-end activities, reporting, reconciliations, data accuracy, and process improvements. You will also collaborate with Finance leadership and business partners on financial, administrative, and operational priorities.

Who You’ll Work With:

The Accountant works closely with the Financial Operations and Reporting team and reports directly to the Financial Controller. This role also partners with teams across PRIMED and maintains external relationships with vendors, distributors, and contract holders.

What You’ll Do:

- Prepare routine monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to support month-end close.
- Complete account analysis and prepare month-end reporting requirements.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for internal and external business needs.
- Maintain global master data in the ERP system, including customer and vendor records and price lists.
- Support financial operations processes, including batch reviews, internal invoice requirements, and reconciliations.
- Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and control effectiveness across finance and operations.
- Process rebate claims and coordinate related stakeholder communications,



including variance resolution, inquiries, and follow-ups.
- Support annual reviews, tax preparation, and audit processes.
- Support the reforecasting and budgeting processes.
- Collaborate with Finance leadership on financial and administrative projects.

Who You Are:

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is considered an asset.

- CPA designation or active enrollment in the CPA program.
- Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative and/or accounting role.
- Experience with large ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database tools.
- Detail-oriented with robust analytical skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Organized problem solver who can think quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a results-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach.
- Adaptable and proactive, with initiative to take on new challenges and shifting priorities.
