Department: Maintenance

Immediate Supervisor: Maintenance Manager

A. NATURE & SCOPE OF POSITION:

To perform maintenance and repairs to all production and auxiliary equipment.

Please only candidates that reside in Canada with a valid work permit and qualifications.

B. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Keeps all die cast and plastic injection production machines in good working order.
- Ensures all electrical requirements are met and up to code.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
- Performs repairs to site service equipment as required.
- Maintains a clean, healthy and safe work area.
- Follows all Health & Safety Rules and wears the appropriate personal protective equipment for the job.
- Other duties as assigned.

C. EDUCATION:

- Must be licensed electrician-Canadian License
- Completion of Red Seal 309A License required is a MUST.

D. EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 1-3 years working in a similar manufacturing setting.
- Experience in Robotics (Motoman / Yaskawa)




- PLC programming and an asset.
- Experience in Industrial Machine Service installation.
- Experience working on 600v 3phase/480v 3phase/240v 3phase electrical services to machines and machine controls.
- Experience with components for electrical panels, machine safety systems and interface systems.
- Knowledge in plastic injection molding an asset.
- Background in sensor application.
- Robotic programming an asset.
- Ability to read Engineering drawings & electrical schematics.
- Strong Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $41.38 per hour
