Complete Truck and Trailer Repair is a locally owned and operated shop looking for a full-time, permanent Apprentice Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting customer equipment
- Perform maintenance and repairs appropriate to your apprenticeship level
- Work alongside experienced technicians on on-highway tractors and trailers
- Develop skills in engines, transmissions, powertrain, fuel, cooling, HVAC, exhaust, electrical/electronic, suspension, steering, and brake systems
- Assist with hydraulic/air brake and frame repairs
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Registered Heavy Equipment Technician apprentice
- Heavy-duty mechanical experience is an asset
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Own tools
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T6B 0A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- Mechanical: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Trade Certificate (preferred)
