Qualifications
- Currently obtains a 442A or 309A training agreement and is in good standing with Skills Trades Ontario.
- Currenlty looking for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice.
- Experience with panel building considered an asset.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintain power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, and motor control centres (MCC's), considered an asset.
- Experience working within a stamping setting, maintaining large-scale mechanical or hydraulic presses, including familiarity with light curtains, safety interlocks, and clutch/brake systems.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, P&ID;'s, and CAD drawings to ensure all work meets the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC).
- Ability to bend, cut, and thread conduit
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to work at heights
