Job Description

Warehouse Coordinator

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator must demonstrate strong time management skills and computer skills. Their key responsibilities are process shipping & receiving. Maintaining inventories of materials, equipment and stock internal & external for the stockroom & tool crib. Sorting and issuing of parts and supplies for shop employees is an integral part of the work. The Warehouse Coordinator may also perform duties within his/her capabilities in addition to those identified in this job description.

Main Duties:

Shipping and Receiving: Unload delivery trucks, inspect goods for damage, and match items to purchase orders. Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies, tag with project # and/or heat #. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the stockroom & tool crib. Contact suppliers to schedule deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed deliveries and other problems.

Inventory Control:

Weekly & monthly counts to replenish parts and supplies under a min/max. Count, sort, and store stock in stockroom & tool crib locations. Update records using excel tracker. Review inventories levels for accuracy and verify that materials, equipment and stock are available. Ordering welding supplies and consumables for stock and projects. Maintain and always use the excel trackers for correct and updated information such as location of parts and supplies on hand.





Order Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, label, and ship customer spring orders accurately and quickly. Ordering gases are just some of the examples along with others

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate material-handling tools like pallet jacks, hand trucks and overhead crane or forklifts. Maintain fleet vehicle readiness, booking repairs and oil changes. Update the fleet maintenance in the fleet app to ensure all records are up to date.

Maintenance & other tasks:

Keep work areas clean, follow safety rules, and wear proper protective gear. Getting tools and equipment repaired. Other duties

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Prior warehouse knowledge is required along with familiarity with various types of welding equipment would be an asset; on-the-job training would be provided for process familiarization as required.

Skills: Good attention to detail, basic computer skills in a Microsoft environment, strong teamwork & being able to work Independently are critical to this role.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods of time and being able to lift objects (up to 50 lbs).

Must possess a driver's license and be over the age of 25.

Be able to traverse through the yard and fabrication facility while wearing appropriate PPE as per company Safety policy.

Participate in the Act of Vigilance Safety Program and observe Company Policies.

Monday to Friday on site / 7:30am – 4pm

40 hours per week
