Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and presentation of our produce department while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for fresh produce, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
- Assist customers by providing information about produce items, including their origins, uses, and nutritional benefits.
- Sell and promote various fruits and vegetables while ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Perform cashiering duties as needed, handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and restock shelves as necessary.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools to uphold health and safety standards.
- Utilize a forklift for moving heavy items or pallets when required (if certified).




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse customers.
- Basic knowledge of produce items is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification preferred).
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to produce handling and sales.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
