Hiring Narrow aisle reach and counterbalance operator in Vaughan

Full time/permanent work

Mon-Fri (7:30 am onwards)

$21/hour paid bi weekly

Responsibilities

- Operate narrow aisle reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, safely and efficiently to move goods throughout the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting of products and materials while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct accurate order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders promptly
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Assist in inventory management by organizing stock in designated storage areas and updating records in the WMS
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to warehouse safety guidelines
- Support warehouse distribution processes by ensuring timely loading and unloading of shipments with precision





Experience

- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as Narrow aisle reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution environments and order picking processes
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with forklift maintenance is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and sustain physical activity throughout shifts
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Robust understanding of safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse procedures
