Trafalgar Dental Oakville is looking to hire a Level II Dental Assistant to join our team!

Your role will be vitally important to keeping our practice running smoothly & helping us provide our valued patients with the highest level of dental care.

Schedule:
Tuesday - 12pm to 8pm
Wednesday - 12pm to 8pm
Thursday - 10am to 8pm
Friday - 8am to 2pm
Saturday - 9am to 6pm
*Our office is closed all holiday long-weekends

Job Duties:

- Assist the dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, surgical, and endodontic procedures
- Prepare and maintain operatories and reprocess dental instruments
- Take dental impressions including digital models via iTero scanner, dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with HARP standards, and perform intraoral duties allowed under Level II certification
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions




- Schedule patient appointments and assist with administrative tasks when needed
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols in compliance with current IPAC guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members to provide optimal patient care

Requirements:

- HARP certified, CDA II
- Experience using ClearDent practice management software is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of RCDSO IPAC protocols
