ACCU-STAFF is currently hiring dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operators for an established aluminum extrusion manufacturing facility in Lakeshore, Ontario.

Position Details

- Location: Lakeshore, ON
- Wage: $19.27 per hour + overtime pay
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 12-hour continental rotating shifts
- Opportunity for permanent placement
- Reliable transportation is required, as the facility is not accessible by public transit

Shift Schedule

This position operates on a 12-hour continental rotating schedule:

- Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Rotation of 2 weeks on days followed by 2 weeks on nights
- Every other weekend off
- Opportunity to work up to 60 hours per week, including overtime

Candidates must be available to work both day and night shifts as part of the rotation.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities may include:

- Setting up, operating, and monitoring aluminum extrusion and production equipment
- Making basic machine adjustments to maintain efficient production
- Monitoring equipment and production processes to identify potential issues
- Performing quality inspections and checking finished products for accuracy and defects




- Using measuring tools to verify products meet required specifications
- Reading and following work orders, production instructions, and technical documentation
- Troubleshooting basic equipment or production issues and reporting malfunctions when necessary
- Accurately completing production, quality control, and inspection documentation
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Following all established PPE, health and safety, and operating procedures
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily production, safety, and quality targets

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates should have:

- Previous Machine Operator, manufacturing, or production experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving abilities
- Ability to safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to understand and follow work orders, instructions, and production procedures
- Ability to stand and remain physically active throughout a 12-hour shift
- Ability to safely perform repetitive production tasks
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability
- A safety-conscious mindset and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from the Lakeshore facility
- Full availability for both day and night rotating shifts





Previous forklift experience and experience reading blueprints or technical drawings are considered assets.
