Traffic Control Person - $17.59/hour

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the setup of temporary workplaces
- Direct traffic at temporary workplaces
- Warning workers of impending danger

Training & Requirements:

- Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
- Steel-toe boots
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Temporary Workplace Signer - $19.59 - 21.00/hour

Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring temporary workplaces are signed in accordance with provincial requirements




- Ensuring all equipment required for the day is loaded on the truck prior to departing
- Interacting with customers in the field to understand scope of work and level of traffic control required
- Ensuring Traffic Control Persons are following all safety policies in the field
- Acting as a Traffic Control Person while crew members are on breaks/lunches
- Performing routine inspections of temporary workplaces

Training & Requirements:

- Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
- Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Steel-toe boots

At this time, priority will be given to those who are willing to be a driver for current TWS or have a valid TWS Certification. Must have a valid NS license and clean abstract.

Pay: $17.59-$21.00 per hour

- Nova Scotia Traffic Control Person Certificate (preferred)
- Nova Scotia Temporary Workplace Signer Certificate (preferred)
- Nova Scotia Class 5 Drivers license (required)
